Merciless should be a top pick for Particle Deconstruction, but it’s actually outpaced in damage by a Vorpal Cartesian Coordinate. Dream Breaker is available from the Lectern of Enchantment on the Moon, Iota Draconis can be found in Season of the Lost activities and engrams, and Coriolis Force is available on Europa. Not great for bossing, and a little challenging to use against groups of enemies. I’d love to recommend Coriolis Force here since it has the highest unboosted total damage of any legendary Fusion Rifle, but its only damage perk is One For All. Rapid Fire frame Fusions are ideal for burst damage, although in extremely long damage phases you might get more use out of the slower-firing Aggressive Frames. When rolled with Vorpal Weapon or High Impact Reserves, the latter of which you’ll find on Null Composure also, you’ll dish out an insane amount of damage while Particle Deconstruction is active. In terms of boss damage it’s hard to pass up the high DPS numbers of Cartesian Coordinate. Particle Deconstruction is the most impactful seasonal mod this season, but which weapons should you pair it with? Besides obvious picks like One Thousand Voices there are some excellent choices waiting to find their way into your energy and power slots.
