Steam updated version of Rome still plays perfect on a P-4 CPU, just not the later issues with onboard HD. So now, if you want to make your Rome run like it is supposed to and you have an AMD CPU, I will gladly help you, but you need to prepare for hurt feelings because it is not Rome with the problem but your PC. The only issues I have are the pathfinding fatal error everyone has and on the laptop it lags in Campaign screens and I even have that down to a minimum. I have an AMD PC with a R290x, one with a 780GTX and a laptop with Intel CPU and a 540m Nvidia chip.
